This quilt was started as a block of the month and I quickly tired of the blocks and the instructions were horrible. I added some other blocks to make it into a lap quilt for my husband. He loves it. It is quilted with a poly fill and very soft. It's just the right size for cuddling up on a cold winter's night. Lesson to self: put a label on every quilt you make!!!! I think this was made in 2001.
This is a quilt I purchased at an art show. I just fell in love with it. It was mde in the USA by several women. It is hand quilted. It is 100 inches by 110 inches so it hangs on the queen sized bed like a bedspread. I can even imagine piecing all those tiny pieces. I like to do things that work up faster.
This quilt was done in Fall of 2002. It was done by middle school students. They were trying a process of making stamps. We then stamped onto the fabric and I made a quilt that we hung in the halls that year. I completed it in the school colors. I wish I had a picture of the quilt we made from bright colors that still hangs in the library. Notice the flag. The learning process is evident here as reverse image needs to be made when stamping.
